The Vows

Some love stories feel like they’re meant to be, and Alex and Troy’s is one of them. This month, we’re honored to share their beautiful spring wedding, a heartfelt celebration filled with timeless traditions and modern touches. From the emotional vows to the joyful festivities, their special day was a true reflection of their unique bond and the love they share.

Reflecting on their most memorable moment, the couple shared:

“If I have to pick just one memory, I’d say it’s walking down the aisle to Troy. Walking down the aisle is something you dream of your whole life. When you meet your person and walk down the aisle, it feels just like you’re still dreaming and repeatedly asking yourself, ‘How did I get so lucky?’ The energy and love in that moment was something we will never forget.”

When asked about the vendors who brought their vision to life, Alex said:

“[It is way too hard to name just one vendor… Without Nicole, Kacie, and the NK Productions team, none of this would have been possible. They felt like friends by the end of it, and they introduced us to incredible vendors like Victoria Blooms for florals, Trout Designs for invitations, and Everence Photography, who captured every moment so perfectly. Every vendor made our day flawless, and we are so blessed to have worked with them!]”

When asked what advice they’d give from their wedding planning journey, Alex shared:

“Work with vendors you trust that feel like friends. You spend so much time with these people in planning and on your big day, so being surrounded by talented, fun people is key. Trust them with your vision and let them bring it to life—you won’t be let down!”

Alex and Troy’s wedding was not only a celebration of their love but also a meaningful homage to Alex’s Hispanic heritage. During their ceremony, the couple included the Las Arras Matrimoniales, or Wedding Coins, a tradition passed down through generations in Hispanic culture.

“The 13 coins we used during our ceremony were the same ones used in my parents’ wedding,” Alex shared. “At its essence, the tradition of Las Arras signifies unity, prosperity, commitment, and support. My grandfather presented the coins during the ceremony, and Troy and I exchanged them as a symbol of the home we are building together—one filled with love, happiness, and growth.”

This heartfelt tradition was one of the many ways Alex and Troy made their wedding day uniquely personal, weaving their family history and values into their celebration.

The Wows

On a picture-perfect day, Alex and Troy Payne exchanged vows in a breathtaking spring wedding at The Vinoy in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The couple’s elegant vision came to life with careful planning and the expertise of an exceptional vendor team, creating a celebration that beautifully blended timeless romance with modern sophistication.

The ceremony unfolded in the serene Tea Garden at The Vinoy, where Victoria Blooms adorned the space with lush florals in a palette that evoked the beauty of spring. Behind the flawless execution of the day was NK Productions. Nicole and Kacie provided their full-planning expertise, ensuring every detail was thoughtfully curated to align with Alex and Troy’s vision. Their dedication went beyond logistics, introducing the couple to trusted vendors who brought their dream wedding to life with passion and care.

Alex was a vision of elegance, wearing a La Femme by Anne Barge gown from Calvet Couture Bridal, paired with Loeffler Randall knotted heels and her grandmother’s cherished pearl earrings. Brides by Kelley Anne completed her bridal look with effortlessly glamorous hair and makeup, while Troy matched her sophistication in a Wilke Rodriguez black tuxedo.

The reception unfolded in the Grand Ballroom at The Vinoy, where guests were treated to a feast of culinary delights and custom cocktails by the venue’s catering team. The evening was steeped in sophistication, with music flowing from Jade Strings during the ceremony to the lively beats of The Rivertown Band at the reception. Thoughtful touches, including bespoke signage and a seating assignment wall handcrafted by Alex and Troy, added personalized charm throughout.

Photography by Jessica and Jordan of Everence Photography captured every detail, from the tender first looks to the joyous dancing, ensuring these cherished moments were preserved forever. Eli Meyer’s videography brought their love story to life, weaving together the highlights of the day into a cinematic keepsake.
