Under warm winter skies, Rowan and Ryan welcomed their closest loved ones to witness a wedding that blended timeless romance with joyful spontaneity. Hosted at the historic Powell Crosley Estate, their celebration was designed to be entirely outdoors- a bold choice in the face of a 95% chance of rain. But that didn’t stop them from soaking in every magical moment, even if it meant dancing barefoot in the downpour to close out the night.

From the start, Rowan and Ryan set their hearts on prioritizing what mattered most to them- joyful moments, thoughtful details, and the people they love. They partnered with Alexis Stephen of Flawless Fetes, who provided month-of coordination with the kind of care and precision that made the day flow effortlessly. Alexis brought Rowan’s vision to life with a clarity and grace that allowed the couple to fully immerse themselves in the celebration.

Rowan stunned in a sleek Jane Hill gown from White Magnolia Bridal, paired with iconic Louboutin heels and a custom ring crafted by family friend Larry Ellis. The bridal party wore soft, coordinated tones from Azazie, with hair by Lauren Hammond of LH Bridal Artistry and makeup lovingly done by Rowan herself- a process she learned over the year to make her morning prep feel calm and intentional. Lauren also styled the entire wedding party with her signature elegance.

Ryan wore a custom tuxedo designed by Carolyn Ferwerda Folsom of J. Hilburn, and his one-of-a-kind wedding band, infused with dinosaur bones, was discovered on Etsy, a unique detail that echoed his personality. The couple exchanged vows in front of the estate, with a ceremony officiated by family friend Steve Romanoff, setting a deeply personal tone for the day.

Surrounding them was a scene rich with texture and natural elegance. Heather Bay of By the Bay Florals created florals that echoed the estate’s timeless aesthetic- lush, organic arrangements in muted tones that softened the architecture and framed each part of the day with intention. Décor and rentals were provided through Pier 22 Catering, who also served as the couple’s caterer and bartender. Instead of traditional cake, guests were treated to a late-night surprise: PDQ chicken sandwiches, cleverly doubling as both snack and favor.

Entertainment came to life with Sunset Strings, who set a serene and romantic mood early in the day, and DJ Rich Kenny of Tampa Event Group, whose energy built momentum as the sun dipped below the horizon. When the rain began after 9p.m., Rich didn’t hesitate- he kept the music going, letting Rowan and Ryan dance in the rain with their guests, creating one of the most unforgettable memories of the night. It was a moment that felt entirely unscripted and wildly beautiful.

Capturing every moment was Sufia Huq Portraits, whose candid and cinematic style made Rowan’s photography dreams come true. From the quiet moments before the ceremony to the exhilarating final dance in the rain, her images are a breathtaking testament to the love and light that surrounded the couple. The day was also beautifully filmed by Albey Productions, preserving the emotion and movement in motion.

Details like their Minted invitations added a personal touch, while lighting- also provided by the caterer- helped the lawn glow into the evening. Their rehearsal dinner the night before was hosted at El Melvin Cocina Mexicana, bringing vibrant flavor and festive energy to the weekend kickoff.

For Rowan and Ryan, the day was never about perfection. It was about connection, love, and showing up for the beautiful, messy, emotional reality of life together. They welcomed the unexpected, danced in the rain, and made their wedding exactly what they had dreamed of- joyful, meaningful, and full of heart.
