This month, we are delighted to feature the enchanting wedding of Alyana and Ryan, who celebrated their union on April 6, 2024, in the charming town of Dover, Florida. Their special day was a beautiful blend of cultural heritage, joy, and personal touches, making it our top pick for the month’s best Tampa + St Pete wedding!

Alyana and Ryan are a remarkable couple with a deep appreciation for family and tradition. Reflecting on their favorite wedding day memory, they shared:

“The private last dance! Ryan and I had a moment to ourselves wherein we could bask in all the joy and love we felt that day… In the Philippines and other Asian countries, there is traditionally a money dance where the couple invites guests to come on the dance floor to dance and pin money on the bride and/or groom.“

The Wows

Alyana and Ryan’s wedding was held at the breathtaking Hardeman’s Secret Garden in Dover. The venue’s enchanting garden setting provided the perfect backdrop for their nuptials. With floral arrangements from Ava Elise Events enhancing the ceremony and reception areas, the atmosphere was both romantic and sophisticated. The wildflower garden theme created a heartfelt ambiance, seamlessly transitioning into a night of celebration and dancing.

The ceremony beautifully blended tradition and personal touches. Officiated by George Smetzer from Weddings and Wellness, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones. Good Food Catering delighted guests with Cuban-inspired dishes, honoring Ryan’s heritage, while the traditional Filipino money dance added a festive and unique touch to the reception.

Alyana was radiant in a gown from Truly Forever Bridal, complemented by flawless hair and makeup by Beauty Marked. Her ensemble was completed with a veil and elegant shoes. Ryan looked equally dashing in a suit from Men’s Wearhouse, perfectly complementing Alyana’s gown. The couple’s rings, from Kay’s Jewelers added the final touch of elegance.

The reception at Hardeman’s Secret Garden was a lively celebration filled with laughter and dancing. Music from Gig Set Go and the Mabry String Quartet ensured that guests had an unforgettable time. The night concluded with a private after-party, creating lasting memories for Alyana, Ryan, and their guests.
