This month, we’re excited to share the captivating wedding of Emily and Trevor, who exchanged vows on June 8, 2024, in the picturesque city of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Their special day was a harmonious blend of glamour, tropical beauty, and deeply personal details, earning it the honor of being our top Tampa + St Pete wedding for the month!

Emily and Trevor’s wedding was a testament to their love and the thoughtful effort they put into creating a memorable experience. Reflecting on their favorite moment from the day, they shared:

“Trevor and I did private vows. I loved having this special memory just the two of us. It really settled my nerves seeing him before our ceremony. We got a chance to be just the two of us, something that doesn’t really happen the rest of the day. We wrote personalized letters to every guest at our reception. Our guests expressed to us how loved it made them feel. We had so many people coming up to us talking about our memories and the letter. It made us feel so connected to our guests.”

Their bond was evident in every detail, from the carefully crafted decorations to the warm and welcoming atmosphere they created for their guests. When reflecting on the planning journey, Emily noted:

“It was really exciting for me to learn how to make a vision come to life. It was so easy to pin ideas on Pinterest but actually making those become a reality was a huge project. I learned so much about what goes into each detail of a wedding. I have so much appreciation for wedding vendors and planners!”

The Wows

The Don Cesar in Saint Petersburg, FL, set the stage for Emily and Trevor’s breathtaking wedding. The venue’s classic elegance was the perfect canvas for their tropical-inspired celebration. Save the Date Florida adorned the ceremony space with lush arrangements, transforming it into a serene paradise. The reception, held in the grand King Charles Ballroom, was a glamorous affair with gold and pink accents that exuded romance.

Emily’s bridal look was the epitome of elegance, thanks to the incredible team at Adore Bridal Hair & Makeup. The artists created a timeless style that perfectly complemented the tropical glam theme of the day. From Emily’s soft, romantic waves to her flawless makeup, every detail was executed with precision.

Their ceremony was a heartfelt blend of tradition and personal touches. Rev Rick from Sensational Ceremonies led the couple through their vows, surrounded by loved ones. Guests were greeted with refreshing Aperol spritzes as they arrived, setting the tone for a relaxed yet sophisticated evening. The cocktail hour, overlooking the beach, offered guests stunning views and a chance to bask in the beauty of the Florida coast.

Emily was radiant in her gown from The Perfect Dress Sarasota, designed by Watters Designs. She completed her look with elegant shoes by Gianni Bini and delicate accessories that added a touch of sparkle. Trevor looked dapper in his suit from Generation Tux, perfectly complementing the day’s tropical and glamorous vibe.

The reception was a joyful celebration, filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments. The talented team from Grant Hemmond & Associates kept the party lively, ensuring guests had a fantastic time on the dance floor. Thoughtful details like the hand-painted oyster shell table names and personalized notes for each guest added a unique and intimate touch to the day. The ceremony was made even more magical by the beautiful music of Kristin Hoyos, a talented harpist who provided a serene and enchanting backdrop as Emily and Trevor exchanged their vows. Her music created an atmosphere of elegance and romance, perfectly setting the mood for the day. The couple’s guests were also treated to a variety of musical moments throughout the weekend, including a performance by Charlie Imes Music during the welcome party, adding a personal and memorable touch to the festivities.

“Riley Gersch with Elegant Affairs by Design. Riley was there for me the year and a half leading up to our wedding. I had so many ideas and questions. She allowed me to dream big and supported everything I wanted for our special day. Our wedding was destination so she played a huge part in making our day happen with us being so far away.”

The Jolley Trolley added a fun and whimsical touch as it shuttled the wedding party to the rehearsal dinner, setting the tone for a weekend filled with joy and celebration.
