The Vows

Each month, we highlight our “Vows That Wow” to showcase weddings that truly embody love, commitment, and extraordinary celebration. This month, we’re thrilled to feature the unforgettable wedding of Elise and Adam, who exchanged vows on January 6, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. Their stunning winter wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, moody ambiance, and organic, woodsy charm, making it our top pick for Tampa weddings this month.

Elise and Adam’s wedding was a true labor of love, blending their personal style with creative touches that left guests in awe. One of the most special aspects of their day was the seven-foot wedding cake designed and crafted by the bride herself, Elise Garcia, who is a talented cake artist behind Elise’s Pieces.

The couple made sure that every aspect of their day reflected their unique vision. As guests entered the space, they were greeted with a fog-filled tunnel that led to the towering cake surrounded by gorgeous florals and greenery—a nod to Elise’s Louisiana roots and her passion for artistry.

Elise and Adam’s day was a testament to their love for each other and their dedication to creating a magical experience. Reflecting on their most memorable moment, they shared:

“The ceremony was so special to me but also our first dance, Adam picked me up and spun me around while the fire works went off and I truly felt like a princess”

When reflecting on the vendors who brought their vision to life, Elise shared:

“Oro Event Co., my wedding planner, is practically a mind reader and took my dreams and made them bigger and better than I could have ever expected. Also yummy tablas made an incredible charcuterie display for us, and cal Morrison our violinist completely rocked everyone’s socks off!”

The Wows

With Tailored Twig leading the floral and design, the reception space was transformed into a woodsy wonderland. Set at the iconic Armature Works in Tampa, FL, Elise and Adam’s wedding was a visual masterpiece, as the typically industrial venue was transformed into a lush, enchanting midnight garden. Towering trees and lush, moody floral arrangements adorned the space, creating a natural, organic aesthetic that perfectly suited the couple’s vision. The reception was nothing short of enchanting, with banquette-style seating framed by tall trees and a V-shaped head table that became the focal point of the evening. Overhead, a canopy of greenery and crystal chandeliers illuminated the dance floor, adding a touch of elegance to the woodsy atmosphere.

To make the couple’s vision come to life, Oro Event Co. was instrumental in curating every detail with precision and creativity. From the floral arrangements to the custom seating arrangements, they seamlessly executed Elise and Adam’s ideas to create a cohesive and stunning atmosphere. The couple’s personalities truly shone through in the thoughtful design choices that reflected their love for nature and elegant aesthetics.

Lighting played a pivotal role in setting the mood for the evening, and Get Lit Productions delivered a dazzling canopy of greenery and crystal chandeliers that hung over the dance floor. This magical display not only added to the evening’s romantic ambiance but also created a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s first dance and the evening’s festivities. As guests enjoyed the reception, they were treated to a gourmet dining experience by Good Food Catering. The menu was carefully curated to reflect Elise and Adam’s taste, blending seasonal flavors with creative presentation. Every bite added to the luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere, ensuring their guests felt indulged and appreciated throughout the night.

Entertainment was another highlight, with No Filter Band keeping the dance floor alive and guests on their feet all night. Their dynamic performance brought energy and fun to the celebration, while Cal Morris Music provided live musical interludes that added an extra layer of sophistication to the day’s events.

To capture the magic of their wedding, Kartsie Photography documented each heartfelt moment with artistry and attention to detail. From the quiet moments between Elise and Adam during their private vows to the lively celebrations on the dance floor, every emotion was beautifully preserved in stunning imagery that the couple will cherish for years to come.

The night ended with an unforgettable nod to Elise’s Louisiana heritage. For their grand exit, the couple combined the traditional New Orleans second line with Tampa’s own Gasparilla tradition of “Walk the Plank,” offering a whimsical and joyful sendoff that left a lasting impression on their guests.

Elise and Adam’s wedding was a celebration that blended personal touches with elegant details, resulting in a magical day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. From the towering trees to the moody floral arrangements, every moment was meticulously crafted to reflect the couple’s unique style and deep connection. This extraordinary event is a true testament to the power of thoughtful design and the joy of celebrating love.
