When Farin and Charles imagined their wedding day, they knew they wanted something that was more than just beautiful—it needed to feel deeply personal, filled with joy, meaning, and touches of their unique love story. At the lush Sunken Gardens in St. Pete, Florida, they brought that vision to life with the help of a dream team of vendors who made every moment seamless, intentional, and unforgettable.
Christine Ferkile of Enchanted Weddings served as the couple’s full-time planner and coordinator, and her role was nothing short of magical. From the first meeting to the final dance, Christine guided Farin and Charles with warmth, clarity, and creative vision. She helped design an experience that honored both their love and their families’ legacies—including tributes to previous weddings and a celebration of their beautifully blended, interracial family.
Farin walked down the aisle in a breathtaking gown by Chosen by KYHA, which she found at Elliot James Bridal. She described McKenzie, who assisted her at the boutique, as “the sweetest human on earth,” and it’s clear their connection added joy to the dress journey. With handmade accessories from Etsy and hair and makeup artistry by the talented team at Femme Akoi, Farin’s bridal look felt like an extension of her spirit—elegant, effortless, and radiant. The bridesmaids wore dresses from Birdy Grey, Azazie, and Anthropologie, complementing the garden surroundings with romantic hues and flowing silhouettes.
Charles looked dapper in his tailored suit from Milano Mens Wear, standing confidently alongside his groomsmen and waiting for the moment he could finally dance with his bride. And what a dance it was—the couple choreographed their first dance together, which quickly became their favorite memory from the day. “I especially loved jumping into Charles’ arms,” Farin shared, “with my dress flowing in the wind as he spun me around.” That moment captured the magic they felt all day long.
The ceremony and reception were both held at Sunken Gardens, where the natural beauty of the venue was elevated with florals by Wonderland Floral Art and personal touches from Farin’s Aunt Gina Washington, who helped design the arrangements. The couple also leaned into their creative side, using Canva, Cricut, and even Farin’s father’s carpentry skills to craft invitations, signage, and wedding day décor. Every piece told a story and reflected the couple’s shared love for creativity and intention.
Good Foods Catering brought flavor and flair to the reception, serving guests an array of dishes that kept everyone coming back for seconds. The bartending service, managed by the venue, kept the celebration flowing. To top it off, Cakes by Caroline created the stunning cake, beautifully designed and delicious. For a sweet and refreshing treat, Paciugo Gelato offered an extra layer of indulgence that delighted guests of all ages.
The evening was filled with joyful music and celebration, thanks to Grant Hemond & Associates, booked through Enchanted Weddings. Their energy kept the dance floor alive, while live harpist Fay Ellen brought an elegant touch to the ceremony, setting a romantic tone as guests arrived. Memories from the day were beautifully captured by Will DeCosta from Iyrus Weddings Photo & Video , the couple’s photographer, whose lens told the story with honesty and grace. Iyrus Weddings Photo & Video also added cinematic flair as the couple’s videographer, ensuring that every emotional moment would be cherished forever.
The celebration began before the big day even arrived, with a rehearsal dinner on the StarLite Cruise, complete with catering on board. Guests enjoyed the scenic views and the start of what would become a weekend of connection and celebration. The couple stayed at the AC Hotel Downtown St. Pete, which offered stylish comfort and a perfect home base for their wedding festivities. Their transportation for the weekend came courtesy of Elite Party Bus, giving the couple and their wedding party a fun and stress-free way to move around the city.
From Brilliant Earth rings to a custom photo booth by Party Makers, every detail was thoughtfully chosen. But more than the beautiful design and talented vendors, what truly stood out was the love between Farin and Charles. They approached the planning process with intention, cherishing each step, and encouraging others to “live in the moment” and “relive every second.”
Their wedding day was a celebration of generations, unity, and joy. And thanks to a vendor team that truly felt like family, it was everything they dreamed of—and more.
