Each month, we highlight a wedding that captures the heart of celebration through intentional design, meaningful moments, and unforgettable ambiance. This month’s Vows That Wow brings us to a breathtaking waterfront estate where Jayne & Payton, alongside the expert planning and floral artistry of Bustle & Bloom Weddings and a showstopping cake by SweetCakes, created a celebration defined by heirloom details, soft blue romance, and joyful energy from start to finish.

Beneath sprawling oak trees draped in Spanish moss, their day unfolded with refined Southern charm and thoughtful personalization layered into every detail. Set against the estate’s stately white columns and manicured brick pathways, their portraits felt timeless — a natural reflection of the classic aesthetic carried throughout the celebration.

A Refined Southern Romance

Jayne and Payton envisioned a wedding that felt timeless yet fresh, elevated without feeling overly formal. A palette of powder blue, crisp white, and layered greenery set the tone for the entire celebration. Bustle & Bloom Weddings, who led both wedding planning and floral design, brought that vision to life through lush white hydrangeas, garden roses, and soft blue blooms woven throughout the ceremony and reception. The ceremony space, set along a brick aisle beneath sweeping oaks, was framed by abundant florals that felt organic yet intentional, allowing the waterfront backdrop to shine.

Bridesmaids wore soft blue gowns adorned with statement bows, carrying cascading bouquets tied with custom embroidered monogram ribbon streamers. That crest became a defining design element of the day, thoughtfully woven throughout the celebration — from bouquet wraps to the welcome signage and hand-painted dance floor — creating a cohesive story that felt both personal and refined.

Deign Moments That Stopped Guests in Their Tracks

Inside the tented reception, layered textures and personalized details elevated each table. Pale blue patterned linens paired with gold flatware and delicate glassware created a setting that felt classic and warm. Monogrammed napkins and custom menu inserts added a subtle heirloom touch that guests couldn’t help but notice. The personalization extended into the guest experience as well. Instead of a traditional guest book, Jayne & Payton invited guests to select custom cards adorned with their crest and leave handwritten wishes for the newlyweds. The thoughtful detail not only echoed the wedding’s signature motif but created a meaningful keepsake they will treasure long after the celebration.

The custom dance floor became an instant focal point. Painted in soft watercolor florals with Jayne & Payton’s crest at its center and featuring a sweet illustrated nod to their beloved dog, it set the stage for a night filled with celebration. That same playful personalization appeared on cocktail napkins and reception details, creating continuity from ceremony to sendoff.

One of the most unforgettable elements of the evening was the live painter, who captured the ceremony scene in real time as guests looked on during cocktail hour. Watching the canvas evolve stroke by stroke added an interactive, artful dimension to the celebration. More than entertainment, it became a meaningful keepsake and future heirloom preserving not just how the day looked, but how it felt.

The cakes (yes, plural) by SweetCakes stood as a trues work of art. One designed in soft blue and ivory tiers with intricate piping, floral appliqués, and the couple’s crest, it felt like a modern heirloom, beautifully displayed against sweeping waterfront views. The other was a nod to the groom with a poker inspired design!

As the evening unfolded, Jayne changed into a chic textured mini dress, signaling a shift from elegant dinner party to full dance floor celebration. Custom blue hats for all the guests, glowing foam sticks, and nonstop music kept guests on their feet, proving that timeless style and high-energy fun can absolutely coexist.

Where Elegance Meets Joy

What made Jayne and Payton’s wedding so striking wasn’t just the florals or the monogrammed details, it was the balance. Refined design met genuine emotion. Classic color palettes met playful personal touches. Luxury met laughter. From embroidered ribbons to a custom dance floor and an heirloom-inspired cake, every detail reflected intention. And when the music turned up and the dance floor filled, the celebration felt effortless, joyful, and completely theirs.

Congratulations to Jayne & Payton! Your wedding was a seamless blend of heirloom charm and vibrant celebration that will leave a lasting impression in our 2026 Tampa + St. Pete Book of Weddings.
