Each month, we shine a light on a wedding that captures the heart of celebration—and this one radiates warmth, love, and artistry at every turn. Lea and Robbie Hecht’s wedding weekend on Casey Key Beach was more than just a ceremony; it was an immersive, joy-filled experience brought to life by a creative team of vendors who treated each detail like a labor of love.

The Wedding Day

Jennifer Matteo Event Planning took the reins to bring the couple’s vision to life, curating a full weekend experience that flowed beautifully from one moment to the next. From the welcome party to the farewell hugs, every touchpoint was designed with intention.

The wedding morning began with soft excitement as Brides by Kelly Anne styled Lea with a relaxed, breezy look—beachy waves and a soft-glam makeup palette that suited the coastal setting perfectly. Her flowing Pronovias gown from Calvet Couture Bridal felt both timeless and effortless, mirroring the movement of the ocean just steps away. As guests arrived, SRQ Trolley provided elegant, coastal-inspired transportation that set the tone for a joyful day. The ceremony space—built on the beach with a wooden platform—felt like an extension of the shoreline.

Tailored Twig crafted floral arrangements that were lush, textural, and organic, blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings. The ceremony space—built on the beach—felt like an extension of the shoreline. Tailored Twig brought this beach ceremony to life with floral design that felt as though it had grown right out of the sand. Every arrangement was thoughtfully curated to reflect the natural beauty of Casey Key. Textural greenery mingled with soft white blooms and sandy-toned accents, mimicking the breeze, the seafoam, and the warm tones of driftwood. The bouquet Lea carried was striking—an organic shape filled with beachy florals that tied together the entire aesthetic of the day. Their ability to match the moment and the environment made the design feel seamless and personal, adding emotional depth to every vignette.

After the “I dos,” the celebration continued at Casey Key Fish House, a waterfront restaurant that offered views of the sunset and a laid-back, elevated atmosphere. With thoughtful rentals from Artistic Spaces Inc, US Tent Rental, Event Effects, and Over the Top Linens, the venue was transformed into an elegant yet approachable reception space. Textures, lighting, and soft coastal colors worked together to create a design that felt both intentional and relaxed.

Emily Baird Design created custom stationery that wove through each element of the weekend—starting with invitations and continuing through day-of signage and paper goods. Each detail added a layer of personalization that elevated the guest experience.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the party truly began. Headliners Band brought high-energy live music to the reception, while DJ Noah Grey Music kept the energy flowing during breaks. The dance floor stayed packed from the first song to the last. Guests stayed at Casey Key Resorts, which offered a luxurious and convenient retreat near the celebration site. With beach views and cozy accommodations, it extended the wedding weekend’s magic beyond just one day.

Every detail of the day was thoughtfully chosen to create an unforgettable experience. The bride’s stunning ring was designed by Flaur Corp, a piece that beautifully reflected her style. Rev. Mark Shaltanis led a heartfelt ceremony, bringing warmth, meaning, and a personal touch that made the moment even more memorable. To ensure guests were comfortable throughout the celebration, Tailored Thrones provided upscale restroom rentals that matched the event’s elegant aesthetic. And when it was time to hit the dance floor, Tampa Bay DJ Company lit up the night with cold sparks, adding a magical flair to the couple’s first dance and grand moments.

Sollis Studio captured more than just stunning visuals—they preserved feeling. With a signature style that blends documentary storytelling and refined editorial composition, Sollis Studio brought every moment to life with authenticity and grace. One frame, in particular—the gorgeous sky view of Lea and Robbie’s favorite moments as they float above the shore—reflects their gift for finding beauty in movement and emotion. Their imagery doesn’t just document a wedding; it invites you into the story, holding space for the quiet, powerful in-betweens that make a day unforgettable.

Lea & Robbie’s Favorite Memories

From the beginning, the couple envisioned something intimate and immersive, filled with joy and intention. Their ceremony took place just steps from the private home they were staying in. When asked about their favorite wedding day memory, Lea and Robbie shared:

The wedding processional was truly unique and special for us both. It was a quick walk from the house to the water and one we’ve made hundreds of times but, this one was so different. The memory of walking barefoot through the sand to a platform with lapping waves beneath was truly unforgettable, and we were grateful that we were able to share that moment with our family and friends.”

Planning a large-scale wedding in a residential beach setting came with its challenges, but the right team made all the difference.

“The location was less than ideal for a wedding of this scale,” they admitted, “but Jennifer and her team approached every challenge with creativity and enthusiasm. That enthusiasm was infectiousness and evident to us and each guest throughout the entire weekend.”

In fact, when asked about their favorite vendors, they shared,

“All of our vendors were truly incredible but there was one who had her hand in every piece of the weekend. Jennifer Matteo and her team saw this thing from start to finish, which included the surprise Nikki Beach themed party on Saturday.”

Lea and Robbie were left with unforgettable memories, an everlasting love, and plenty of advice for future brides and grooms to be. For them, the key to an unforgettable wedding was trust:

“If you find vendors that you work well with, then it will make your planning and wedding weekend go off without a hitch! When it came to the wedding day, there was absolutely no stress on us or our family which made the day that much more perfect!”

From heartfelt vows by the ocean to dancing beneath the stars, every moment of Lea and Robbie’s wedding felt intentional, joyful, and beautifully theirs, brought to life by a dream team of creatives who turned challenges into magic and moments into memories.
