For January, we’re spotlighting Shelby and Courtland’s stunning St. Pete Beach nuptials, a timeless celebration at the iconic Don CeSar. Their wedding, with a palette of soft blush and sage complemented by rich terracotta and warm gold accents, radiated elegance and coastal sophistication.
The Wedding Day
Shel and Chris’ wedding day was brought to life at the iconic Don CeSar, a venue known for its breathtaking architecture and elegance. This historic hotel set the perfect stage for their ceremony and reception, offering stunning ocean views and luxurious surroundings. The couple’s wedding was thoughtfully designed to showcase The Don CeSar’s charm, with every detail meticulously planned to create a seamless and unforgettable experience. The venue’s renowned service and beautiful setting made it the ideal choice for Shel and Chris’ dream day.
Complementing the venue’s beauty, the floral arrangements and décor by 2 Birds Events were nothing short of spectacular. From the lush, romantic florals that adorned the ceremony space to the sophisticated reception designs, 2 Birds Events created an atmosphere that was both elegant and intimate. Their creative vision and expert attention to detail made the couple’s wedding day feel uniquely theirs, blending effortlessly with the iconic style of the Don CeSar.
In addition to the exceptional work by the venue and floral team, Shel and Chris’ wedding day was captured in timeless photographs by Justin & Ashley Demutiis. Hair and makeup for the bride and her party were expertly handled by Femme Akoi, and the wedding was coordinated by Nancy Cotto as the day-of coordinator, with the ceremony officiated by Lhegendary Weddings. Videography was handled by Fairytale Productions, ensuring every moment was captured perfectly.
Shelby & Courtland’s Favorite Moment
For Shelby and Courtland, the highlight of the evening was dancing the night away with their loved ones, while Grant Hemond & Associates’ DJ Eric kept the energy high.
Instead of a traditional photo booth, guests posed against a flower wall by Southern Event Rental, capturing memories to last a lifetime. With so many special moments, from a ride on a classic Star Trolley, to a momentous first dance choreographed by Arthur Murray Shelby shared, “Justin and Ashley had such a calming presence and helped us stay on track throughout the day. I highly recommend working with a photographer that you have fun with. Next to your partner, you spend the most time with your photography team on the big day!”
